From coastal areas south of New Bern:  Take rte 17 north to New Bern Enter Hwy – rte 70 East just past WalMart (on right) Take next exit Pembroke/Trent Follow directions above from #4 From Virginia and Points north:  *Take rte 17 south until you cross the Neuse River bridge at New Bern Cross over bridge and follow signs for 70 West Take Pembroke/Trent exit (first after Freedom bridge) At end of exit ramp turn right Follow directions above from #5
